Business Administration Assistant

Stevens Point Orthopedics is looking for an energetic and eager individual to join our team. Job Summary

Stevens Point Orthopedics’ Business Administration team is seeking a motivated student, recent graduate or focused individual to participate in the organization’s day-to-day business operations—general office administration, accounting, excel, financials and more.

This would be a particularly beneficial position for a college student looking to gain experience in their chosen field. Accounting or business administration students would gain real-world experience in business and finance, with some minor exposure to various other business functions.

As a part-time employee, you’d be expected to work 10 to 15 hours per week. These hours will vary based on the current work load and time of year. The days and time you work can be flexible depending on your availability.

Essential Job Functions

  • Conduct a variety of general administrative tasks as assigned
  • Enter credit card receipts into QuickBooks accounting software
  • Enter invoices into QuickBooks and generate checks for bill pay
  • Reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts
  • Setup and maintain excel spreadsheets
  • Help improve administration procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and research skills
  • Detail-oriented and team player
  • Desire to learn about health care administration and finance
  • Self-starter needing minimal direction
  • Pay dependent on experience
