Help Stevens Point Orthopedics Support Project Fresh Start

Believe it or not, the start of a new school year is just around the corner. August is when many families start buying school supplies. For some families, it can be a painful reminder that there isn’t enough money to go around. Project Fresh Start is a United Way of Portage County program that helps provide school supplies to many of those families.

Thousands of students will benefit from donations from people like you. This year, the Stevens Point Orthopedics is proud to be one of the local businesses supporting this cause! As a drive partner, you can bring in your donations to our drop site at the clinic.

How Can You Help?

There are countless items to donate! Naturally, each student needs a backpack. Other donations could include pencils, pens, markers, colored pencils, glue, a pencil bag or box, highlighters, rulers, scissors, notebooks, folders, binders, and loose-leaf paper. For a complete list of supplies being collected, go to volunteersrock.org. Don’t have time to go shopping but want to help? You can also consider a cash donation.

Donations will be accepted anytime at our clinic location until August 8th. Please consider bringing a donation if you are attending one of our Complimentary Sports Physicals.

Haven’t heard yet about our complimentary summer physicals? Get your athlete in to see us! Availability is limited to appointments only. No walk-in appointments are allowed. Visit our sports physical page for details and forms to fill out in advance.
