Hometown/Where are you from originally: Born in Memphis, TN, moved around a lot as a child and spent most of my later childhood near Annapolis, MD.
Education: Bachelor’s in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training – Central Michigan University Master’s of Exercise & Movement Science/AT/Sports Psychology – University of Oregon Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies – University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Position: Physician Assistant.
Describe some of your job duties: Evaluate and treat orthopedic patients, splinting, assist in surgery, post-operative evaluations.
Favorite thing about working at SPO: There are great people that work at this clinic. Everyone is very helpful and supportive and they work together as a team to provide great medical care.
Hobbies: Spending time with family and friends, water sports, watching sports-especially football, working out and reading.
Family/Pets: My awesome family includes my husband, Steve and 2 daughters. We have a black lab named Blackjack and a rabbit.
If you could be any office supply item, what would you be? And why?: Tape, because it can be used for many different things and is very flexible. I can multi-task well and perform many different tasks or roles as needed. I have also learned over the years to be very flexible in my job and schedule to get things done.
